SRI Accepted as New Member at UArctic Assembly

Last week in the beautiful Faroe Islands, members of the UArctic network gathered to move the Arctic agenda forward through presentations, networking, and new collaborations. ASF's Sophie Holtzman was present at the Congress with colleagues Aman Luthra and Vera Kuklina. In addition to presenting research on mining in Nome, Alaska, Sophie presented ASF's mission and previous work to the members of UArctic as an application for UArctic membership. At the UArctic Assembly on the final day, ASF's Sustainability Research Institute (SRI) was officially accepted as a member of the network. Our team at SRI is proud to be a member of the UArctic network and looks forward to the Arctic research to come!
