A Celebration of the GW Alliance for a Sustainable Future

Our big celebration event featured a student speaker, senior Aleena Fayaz, a panel with faculty researchers, and a conversation between Alliance Executive Director Frank Sesno and Chairman of the Senate's bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus, Senator Chris Coons.

We concluded with a choral performance, Sacred Place, celebrating our relationship with the earth, accompanied by a four-piece ensemble, including prominent musicians.

The event was followed by a reception in the Grand Ballroom of the University Student Center.
