Communications Assistant, GW Alliance for a Sustainable Future


Jenna Xavier (she/her) is a Communications Assistant at the GW Alliance for a Sustainable Future, where she supports publicity and research initiatives that promote sustainability and environmental justice on campus. She is an honors student, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Criminal Justice, as well as a Master of Public Health in Health Policy at The George Washington University.

Her experience spans communications roles in legislative, sustainability, and health equity spaces, including positions in DC nonprofits and on Capitol Hill. She is particularly interested in advancing health literacy, healthcare accessibility, and anti-oppressive discourse to better serve historically marginalized groups. In addition to her role with the Alliance, Jenna is the Director of Publicity of the GW Indian Students’ Association, an editor for the GW Undergraduate Law Review, and an events coordinator for GlobeMed at GW. She enjoys navigating diverse spaces where she can exercise her eclectic passions that intersect public health, policy, and sustainability.
